The person will be responsible for the day to day business operations, improving performance,productivity,efficiency and profitability of Hollard Botswana through the provision of effective operational methods and strategies.The successful candidate will be accountable for managing risk and compliance within operations by building sustainable portfolios.
Management of Hollard Insurance administration function in Ghanzi, including but not limited to underwriting, customer service and claims.
Broker visits and maintenance of close relationships (clients & stakeholders).
Staff appraisals,retention,discipline and training.
Signing of purchase orders, delivery notes and payments vouchers.
Compile,maintain and distribute Hollard Insurance Botswana management reporting including: Daily reporting compile and report all daily business initiatives (quotes,renewals,new business,lapses etc.); weekly reporting,monthly reporting.
High level data analysis to influence strategic decision making.
Co-management of premium collection from business partners (e.g. brokers and agents).
Conduct periodic internal reviews of operational controls to ensure that company processes,policies and procedures are followed.
Identify compliance issues that require follow-up.

Qualification & Experience:
- The right candidate must have a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Risk Management or related.
- Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Short Term is a pre-requisite and four (4) years experience in Insurance industry.
