Business Performance Specialist

Reporting to the Commercial and Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of Orange Money performance metrics across all activities and continuously monitor the annual budget to ensure growth and profitability.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Optimise the Orange Money performance reporting process through in-depth business performance analysis and provide performance insights and recommendations to improve performance metrics.
  • Coordinate pricing and business case validation of Orange money for new and existing products and services.
  • Contribute to and manage the Orange Money annual budget, marketing plan, strategy and the operational plan.
  • Support the growth of Orange Money by identifying revenue leakages and Implement sound cost cutting initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of Orange Money products and propose relevant marketing campaigns and promotions to boost business performance.
  • Build a performance focused culture by working with the product team throughout the product lifecycle to ensure that the right KPIs and targets have been set for all products.
  • Monitor industry trends locally and globally in respect of competition, vendors, customers, regulation, product tariffs to inform development of appropriate product concepts.
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to automate and continuously improve Orange Money KPI reporting and dashboard.


Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or any Business related field.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in a business performance management discipline.
  • Experience within banking or mobile financial services will be an added advantage.
