Chief Operations Officer
The Chief Operations Officer will lead and provide strategic direction to the technical functional team and ensure appropriate technical standards and competence within the business. Provide technical services to the Business Units and Operations, ensure applications of appropriate leading practices and technologies. To ensure an aligned team by implementation of BPC culture and, values. Maintaining a safe and proactive work environment, and actively promoting a culture of “safety ﬁrst” and zero harm throughout the company.
Experience in project management of big infrastructural projects is essential
A minimum of twelve years relevant experience in a large corporate environment
Of the above, at least ﬁve years must be in a senior management position
Experience gained in the power industry will be an advantage.
Experience in Performance Management: have the ability to build a high-performance culture by designing and delivering programs that accurately assess and recognize the skills and capabilities that the organization needs to achieve success.
- A recognised Degree in Engineering degree or Equivalent.
- A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is preferable.
- Additional Management and Human Sciences qualiﬁcations will be an advantage.
