Credit Risk Analyst

Duties And Resposibilities

  • To head and independent risk-oversight department that defines and implements a framework to approve, monitor and report on credit risks and exposures arising from lending, trending and settlement activities in accordance to set principles.
  • Process Management: the candidate should be able to identify, document and monitor key processes to achieve successful business results. This involves development of framework for process improvement. This involves setting up processes that will ensure coherent process from customer level, debtors and accounts department.
  • To partner with stakeholders to ensure functional and operational requirements ad adhered to and also test cases to address business requirements .
  • Ensure high quality business processes and collection procedures that address issues of compliance and ethics
  • Consult and negotiate with clients regarding financial transactions, payment terms and credit limits.

Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess the following

  • A qualification in credit management and Risk Management
  • A qualification in accounting will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 8 years in the FMCG industry
  • Solid experience in Business Process Development
  • Excellent communication skills with advanced technical writing skills
  • Confident with the cost-Benefit Analysis Process
  • Excellent Leadership skills
