Orange Money Botswana invites candidates who wish to be part of a dynamic workforce to apply for the following position:

Digital Marketing and CBM Specialist

Reporting to the Commercial and Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing Orange Money digital campaigns across varied platforms to increase customer engagement and awareness of Orange Money products and services. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns aimed at improving customer retention and reducing churn.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement Orange Money digital media plan and strategy.
  • Develop, execute and manage captivating Orange Money digital campaigns to increase customer engagement across all available digital platforms.
  • Drive orange money customer education through innovative digital campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of digital content by external parties to ensure alignment to the set campaign objectives.
  • Improving the brand's awareness using digital media channels such as Youtube, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook.
  • Develop and manage customer base management strategy and plan in line with Orange Money’s ambition to maintain leadership of mobile money market share.
  • Create and manage periodic customer base management campaigns aimed at increasing customer retention and reducing churn.
  • Analyse and understand Orange Money customer behaviours and trends.
  • Monitor, analyse and share insights from customer base campaigns.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of customer base movement trends and make recommendations to improve Orange Money customer base.


Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any Business related fields.
  • Digital Marketing and/or CBM specialist courses will be an advantage.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a marketing and/or product development.
  • Experience in banking or mobile finance will be an added advantage.


  • Digital Content Management.

  • Excellent communication and collaborating skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word).
