Human Resources Officer

Job description

The Human Resources Officer is required to perform a full generalist human resources function, which includes industrial relations, recruitment and selection, training, counselling, payroll data capturing, medical aid, pension, payroll queries and the supervision of administration processes.


Successful candidates will be required to have :

  • Experience in recruitment and selection

  • Experience in Industrial relations

  • Management of staff records

  • Experience in work & residence permits applications

  • Experience in payroll administration using VIP

  • SAP experience will be an added advantage

  • Management of staff benefits e.g medical aid, pension, workers compensation and leave

  • Experience in general HR administration

  • Performance Management System

Inherent Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management plus minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources functions
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Knowledge of Botswana Labour Laws
  • Sound interpersonal skills and team player
  • Hospital experience will be an added advantage
  • Good work ethics
  • Good communication skills
