Sales Director

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Understand industry-specific trends
  • Maximize new business development opportunities
  • Build and maintain long lasting strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Motivate the sales team to meet sales goals and ensure the company provides exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as marketing or business administration
  • 10 years of FMCG industry sales experience at an executive level position
  • Strong IT, budget and report writing skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good Business sense
  • The ability to motivate and lead the team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
  • Understanding how to position products against competitors
