The above position is available in our Sales Department. This role will oversee the sales of PST Sales & Distribution Group of Companies, a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company (FMCG) based in Gaborone
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
- Understand industry-specific trends
- Maximize new business development opportunities
- Build and maintain long lasting strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
- Motivate the sales team to meet sales goals and ensure the company provides exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as marketing or business administration
- 10 years of FMCG industry sales experience at an executive level position
- Strong IT, budget and report writing skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good Business sense
- The ability to motivate and lead the team
- Excellent communication skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- The ability to work calmly under pressure
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
- Understanding how to position products against competitors
