Senior Procurement Officer

Job description

To assist the entire process of procurement for goods and services by soliciting for quotations, expediting orders, resolving supplier queries, contracts management, ensuring effective records management and participating in selection, awarding, debrief and administration of tender evaluations. You will be required to negotiate buying agreements, focal Point and Ensures adherence to Company procurement policies and procedure and actively involved in disposal of obsolete stocks.

Requirements

Qualification and experience:

  • Business Degree or related. Master’s in supply chain management would be an added advantage.
  • Post Qualification that is procurement related
  • Membership of a Supply chain body
  • At least four years’ post qualification experience in supply chain field, specializing in procurement and exposure to computerized procurement systems.
  • Experience in management of Environmental an Quality Management System
