Tax Team Manager

Responsibilities include:

Consulting of TAX and VAT engagements through conducting research, reviews and responding to VAT and BURS queries/audits. Liaising with clients, partners and BURS. Calculation of provisional SAT tax payments. Attend to TAX investigations/BURS audits, liaising with clients and BURS, providing information to either party, ongoing communications in connection with investigation/audit. Mentoring and developing trainees.

Qualification and Experience:

Candidates should have a professional qualification like BICA/CA/ACCA/CIMA/ICZA and a minimum 5-7 years relevant experience in accounting and taxation services and 2-3 years of which should have been at assistant manager level

Competencies candidates must have:

Good knowledge of Botswana tax and VAT law, knowledge of international tax practices and laws, knowledge of Expatriate taxation, excellent skills in interpretation of legislation & regulations are essential requirements. The candidates should also have excellent verbal and written communication, analytical capabilities. Candidates should have a proven track record of outstanding performance and display high level to people management and business skills etc
